Road to 500*!

The last quarter was rich in developments and support thanks to the partnerships forged by WTC Metz-Saarbrücken and the networks in which it contributes and evolves.

As a result, theWTCA Francophone Initiative (World Trade Centers Association) supported by French-speaking WTCs today offers complementary business opportunities to our members from and to French-speaking countries. In this respect, our collaboration with WTC Algiers enabled us to organize a successful company mission to the ALGEST industrial subcontracting trade show in Algeria. The French-speaking collective is also committed to a mission to Bengalore, India, in March 2024, where the 54th Global Business Forum will be held, organized by WTCA and WTC Bengaluru.

WTC Metz-Saarbrücken's collaboration withOFAJ (Office franco-allemand pour la jeunesse) stimulated and gathered contributions from French and German students as part of the 1er forum franco-allemand de Metz organized by the Metz Eurometropole. The forum, on the theme of "Cities on Water", highlighted the many advantages of the presence of water in our territories, and the importance of developing river transport as a sustainable, resilient mode of mobility and source of exchange.

In terms ofInnovation, we invite you to discover the young company HOLIMAKER, which has just joined the WTC Metz-Saarbrücken and markets a manual plastic injection press for plastics processing.

WTC Metz-Saarbrücken has also launched a cycle of events aimed at first-time exporters , to take them from the Grand Est and Saarland into the international arena.

All these dynamic cross-border and international initiatives are closely involved with local economic ecosystems and territories, and contribute to global economic development. It is our wish and our contribution in 2024 to strengthen the network of WTC business centers and their services, and to take "* the road to 500 WTCs"!

Happy end of year to all!

A look back at the business delegation in Algiers

On the occasion of the ALGEST industrial subcontracting trade show in Algiers, the WTC Metz-Saarbrücken organized a economic delegation from October 17 to 20, 2023 in partnership with the World Trade Center Algiers, for companies from Moselle wishing to discover the opportunities of the Algerian market .

A number of excellent discussions took place on site with exhibitors, ranging from family-run SMEs to major national groups, all of whom were looking for quality expertise in the vocational training sector in particular, in direct line with the profiles of our delegation participants.

Focus on two participants from the delegation: Formation SaarLor and EA LE COLIBRI, both corporate service providers. A typical example of high-potential expertise, highlighting the strength of the WTCA network.

This mission, proposed by WTC Metz-Saarbrücken, mobilizes the skills of WTCs(WTCA) and associates Team France Export and Business France alongside French companies committed to international development.
