Europe under pressure: cybersecurity at the heart of strategic issues

Le 17 mars dernier, le WTC Metz-Saarbrücken a réuni experts, décideurs et innovateurs à Sarrebruck pour la deuxième édition du Cross-Border Cybersecurity Tour. Avec pour thème central « L’Europe sous tension », cette journée a mis en lumière la cybersécurité comme pilier stratégique de la souveraineté numérique européenne.

Le programme a été rythmé par des interventions d’acteurs de premier plan, notamment le Bundesamt für Sicherheit und Informationstechnik (Office fédéral allemand de la sécurité de l’information), le centre de recherche CISPA Helmholtz Center for Security , ainsi que des leaders du terrain tels qu’’UEM (Usine d’Électricité de Metz). Les échanges ont abordé des enjeux cruciaux tels que la protection des infrastructures critiques, la protection des données avec le Data Center Advanced Mediomatrix, et l’automatisation de la conformité grâce à des innovations présentées par Dr. Kilian Schmidt de la société KERTOS, ainsi que Alexander Busse de Cybervize.

L’événement a également offert une vitrine aux solutions de demain grâce aux Startups sarroises et luxembourgeoises présentes en fin de journée, avant de se clôturer par un dîner de networking à la Halle 4, tiers lieu dédié à l’innovation.

Ce format transfrontalier a une nouvelle fois prouvé son efficacité pour favoriser le dialogue entre la recherche, les institutions publiques et les acteurs économiques de notre Grande Région transfrontalière, le partage de compétences et de bonnes pratiques ainsi que faire emerger des opportunités de business.
