On Friday, October 18, the World Trade Center Metz-Saarbrücken organized a visit of the logistics platform of the Regional Management of the Lidl Group. Lidl France in Montoy-Flanville, Moselle. Around thirty participants took a behind-the-scenes look at this German retailer, with a presentation of the company's activities by site management and a tour of the warehouse.
With the experience gained from the deployment of some 12,000 supermarkets and over 200 logistics platforms worldwideLIDL has a high-performance logistics network and ensures reliable deliveries. In the Grand Est region, Lidl operates three logistics platforms These include: a warehouse at Gondreville in Meurthe-et-Moselle, which supplies 58 of the company's supermarkets in the southern part of the Grand Est region; a 53,000 m² warehouse at Entzheim near Strasbourg, used mainly for the Alsace region; and thea 42,000 m² warehouse in Montoy-Flanville which covers Moselle and much of the former Champagne-Ardenne region and employs more than 200 employees.
