Franco-German student seminar in Metz

On the occasion of the 1st Franco-German Forum in Metz,
the Franco-German Youth Office (OFAJ), in partnership with the WTC Metz-Saarbrücken, is organizing a Franco-German student seminar on Tuesday, October 3. During this preparatory day for the Public Forum on October 4, French and German students will be able to exchange their views on the theme:

"The city of tomorrow

The following day, they will have the opportunity to present the results of their work at the Public Forum. Students will benefit from high-level scientific (human geography, earth sciences, urban ecology) and intercultural support. They will have the opportunity to interact with the speakers and the participating public.

Course of the event :

• Monday October 2: Arrival and welcome of students in the evening at "La Brasserie" youth hostel in Metz
• Tuesday October 3: Franco-German student seminar
  Welcome at 9:00 a.m. at Inspire Metz, Place d'Armes, Metz: a working day to prepare for the Forum on Wednesday October 4.
  Day supervised by speakers. Evening free.
• Wednesday, October 4: Public forum from 9am to 6pm Welcome at 9am at Espace Europa Courcelles in Montigny-lès-Metz.
  Speeches by experts.
  Debriefing of seminar proceedings with student presentations. Time for discussion and questions/answers with the public.
  Lunch on site. End of seminar around 6:00 pm.

Reception arrangements :

Meals, accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the OFAJ. Students with no means of return transport on the evening of October 4 can benefit from an extra night's hotel accommodation free of charge.

Candidates agree to take part in both days on October 3 and 4, 2023. Final response due no later than September 25, 2023.
