The Fonds citoyen franco-allemand advises, networks and finances projects that highlight Franco-German friendship and Europe. It supports projects of all sizes, with a variety of themes and formats, and is aimed at all players in civil society.
Launched in April 2020, the Fonds Citoyen stems from the Treaty of Aachen signed in 2019. Its implementation is entrusted to the Franco-German Office for Youth (OFAJ), and it is financed in equal parts by the French and German governments.
